~ FRUGAL GREEN CLEANING FRIDAY " HERBAL DEGREASER"

Hello ladies!

Today I bring you a easy, effective and  clever way of naturally cleaning items in your kitchen , or any where in the home needed.  It's made of easy to find items in your local stores and best of all it's not made without those harmful chemicals that many of the store brought ready made cleaners are made of. It's the herbal degreaser,  once I began using this spray I was amazed at how clean the areas were where I applied this spray. So here's whats needed :

INGREDIENTS :

Spray bottle

Micro fiber cloth or any cloth

2 Cups of water  ( distilled or filtered water optional)

1/4 Cup of Castile soap

10 drops of  Rosemary, or Lavender EO ( Essential Oil ) or both combined. Or any of your favorite EO's.  I prefer these two oils for their antibacterial, anti fugal and viral properties.

Apply all ingredients to your bottle , and shake gently.

DIRECTIONS:

Apply all ingredients to your bottle , and shake gently. Then spray generously where needed . Allow spray to sit then wipe with a damp cloth. Wipe dry.

It's best when making your DIY products to make small batches, but if you'd like to make a larger batch that's fine. I use my degreaser for the tops of my stove and oven, around the knobs of my stove, the hood of my stove. You can even use it on your blinds or any where  that may be prone to collect grease.

Once I'm done my appliances are clean and shiny and smell great.

As always thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend and remember to stay naturally healthy and fabulous !

Wow, this sounds super easy and cheap to make.

But what exactly cuts through the grease? I'm assuming the EOs are just for fragrance, so does castille soap have enough power to clean grease and grime?

Or is this mixture mainly for shine?

@ Nappy headed black girl

Yes it is very easy to make. Both castile soap and EO'c are quite strong. Castile soap is pure just think of how high the Ph is for our hair.

And then think about how Eo's if gets on our skin and left can actually burn through the layers of our skin ( I know of someone who this has actualy happend to) Now think of them being used together.

I use this spritz to on my stove, etc and it gets the job done as in cleaning . The key is allowing the spray to sit for a moment.

Thanks for stopping by kay, have a great weekend and Take care.
