~ SWEET NATURE BY EDDIE ~

Happy Monday Ladies!

Today I bring you a review on products from "Sweet Nature by Eddie". Before I get started let me say I have used this in both my girls hair and my hair. Yielding the same results. I was sent products to review this line around the same time I interview Eddie the owner.

There are a couple of things I'd like to point out about this line. First the names of the products, love the names they are different speaks of inspiration. Also this is a well thought out line. There is a wealth of items to choose from included with lots of beneficial information on each product. It shows Eddie did her homework in making sure she put out quality products for different types of hair, based off of need.

The samples that was sent to me, are really generous sizes.  So lets get into the review:

INSPIRATION SHAMPOO:

Paraben Free, Gluten Free & SLS Free. This shampoo will leave the hair clean, but not stripped of all of its natural oils. It is infused with 6, nutrient rich, carrier oils and raw honey that will keep the hair hydrated and soft. This is an excellent body wash .

INGREDIENTS:

Ingredients: Purified Water, Decyl Clucoside (Derived from Sweet Orange), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Derived from Coconuts), Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Citric Acid (Fruit Acids), Raw Honey, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil and Fragrance Oil

A BIT ABOUT Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) Sodicum Laureth Sulphate (SLES) *TAKEN FROM THE SITE*
Detergent used as a moisturizer in floor cleaning products, found in engines and in Agent Orange (which served to kill vegetation and profoundly harmed human and animal life during and long after the Vietnam War.) SLS and SLES are used in laboratories as skin irritants in order to test soothing products. However, their low cost makes them present in the majority of shampoos and cosmetic foaming products. Several studies have underlined the harmful effects of their use: urinary infections, kidney and bladder infections, fertility problems, irritation to the eyes, skin and scalp, allergic reactions, lesions of the scalp and hair loss and dandruff. Certain studies have asserted that SLS and SLES are carcinogenic.

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SHAMPOO- tHIS IS A VERY THICK SHAMPOO, As I've stated previously . When I use shampoo I like for my shampoos to be thick and rich. And that is exactly what you'll find with this shampoo. The smell is Divine, lathers well. My hair as well as my girls hair felt clean, and not stripped

The price- 16oz $19.50, 12oz  $15.00, 8 oz $11.00

LOVE PEPPERMINT INFUSED MOISTURIZING DEEP CONDITIONER-

Detangling will be a breeze with this thick and creamy conditioner. Love is packed with hydrating, nutrient rich oils and raw honey, which will soften the hair and fight hair loss while the silk amino protein will work to strengthen each strand. The tingling sensation of the peppermint oil will awaken your scalp stimulating blood flow and promoting growth.

INGREDIENTS-

Ingredients: Purified Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol (Derived from Coconut Oil), Raw Honey, Avocado Oil, , Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Silk Amino Protein, Peppermint Oil

My thoughts-

This baby is a thick,  a very thick DC. Again as with my shampoos (when used) I also like my DC to be thick, rich and moisturizing. This DC delivered all 3 of those things. It was thick, smelled great, and the feeling from the peppermint was awesome. I really felt my hair was getting nourished.

I must say that for me there was not a whole lot of slip. There was slip, but I tend to like just a tad bit more. So with that I was concerned about how moisturized my hair would be after using. And, ladies let me tell you my hair was urber moisturized and soft out of this world. This is one I am almost certain I will repurchase for sure.

Price-  8oz $10.00, 12 oz $14.50, 16oz $18.50, and the gallon is $60.00

GROWTH MOISTURIZING SPRAY:

This multi-purpose spray can be used as to detangle the hair, as a moisturizing braid spray, a scalp energizer and a general moisturizer. It will not only leave the hair quenched, soft and unbelievably manageable, but the Aloe Vera will assist in healthy blood flow while delivering nutrients to the follicles.

INGREDIENTS:

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Wheat germ oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Gotu Kola, Saw Palmetto, Nettles Blend, Horsetail, and Fragrance Oil

PRICE:  8OZ $15.00, 12OZ $19.00, 16OZ $27.00

MY THOUGHTS:

Love this product it does a great job with detangles. provides a extra bit of moisture. Has a great scent. and left our hair very manageable. It did not leave our hair feeling sticky , as with other I have used.

DREAM CREAM MOISTURIZER:

This is a super creamy, hydrating moisturizer packed with numerous natural butters such as Shea, cocoa and mango! It also has many nourishing oils as well as organic aloe Vera juice. Dream is excellent for relaxed hair or natural hair and every skin type as well.

INGREDIENTS:

Spring Water, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aloe Vera Juice, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Fragrance Oil.

PRICE:

4OZ $9.00, 8OZ $15.00, 12 OZ $24.00, 32OZ $45.00, and up. She also offers a kit with this product.

MY THOUGHTS:

The texture is exactly as in the title a cream. I would consider this to be of a lighter cream. Which can be great for the warmer months, especially. It does well as a moisturizer . And has a great scent. For myself layering this with a sealant and you have a wonderful pair.

WISDOM HEAVY MOISTURIZER:

This is a heavy moisturizer with Shea butter and cocoa butter as its primary ingredients. Aloe Vera gel, mango butter, and an array of several nutrient rich oils are combined to deliver the needed hydration to keep the hair soft. This moisturizer also has a very slight hold and is excellent for braiding, twisting and coiling the hair. It’s also an amazing body butter for rough dry skin.

INGREDIENTS:

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Purified Water, Organic Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Fragrance Oil.

PRICE:
4OZ $9.00, 8OZ $15.00, 12OZ $24.00, 32OZ $45.00, and up. She also offers this in a kit as well.

MY THOUGHTS:

This is again exactly as described in the name of this product. This is a very thick moisturizer. I really like this one as well. It keep my hair moisturized for a few days  , and provides great shine. The smell is very nice. It's of a butter like texture.

I really like these products . I have already decided to use this line in my girls hair . I really can see this line doing very well with our hair. It's filled with very nutritional ingredients that our hair loves. These products does include proteins in the ingredients. I am very cautions on using protein in my hair.

However, I do believe especially now that I have colored my hair. I need to do a few protein treatments here and there to help in my hairs strength. I can tell I have found that in the DC from this line.

She offers many other items for our hair. There are a few more I plan to try.  Below I will provide the link to sweet nature by Eddie . Go on over and check out all she has to offer along with some very impressive reviews.

These products sound divine and I also like the names.

The only two I wouldn't care for are the moisturizer (it sounds too heavy for me) and the peppermint deep conditioner (I've had bad experiences with peppermint in the past 0_o)

I think my mother would enjoy this line, though. I may purchase a few goodies for her. Thanks for the reviews.
