~ FRUGAL GREEN CLEANING FRIDAY " DIY SOFT TUB SCRUB"

Hello Curlies!

For today's Frugal Friday I am happy to share a wonderful, effective, toxic and chemical  free way to clean your tub and bathroom sink. Using chemical free items  you may have in your home. This recipe is easy on the pocket's, super easy to make, long lasting, and yes once again I must mention Chemical free!!

DIY SOFT TUB SCRUB:

Ingredients:

Clean container or jar w/ lid.

3/4  cup of  Arm & Hammer Baking Soda.

1/4 Cup of Castle Soap.

3-5  Tablespoons  of distilled or purified water. ( note: you can use tap water, but distilled water expands the shelf life of your DIY products)

10-15 drops of Essential oil ( I like to use any that carry antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, or antibacterial properties. Examples are as follows :  Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Tea Tree, Sandalwood, etc. I use Tea Tree EO ).

Directions:

Put your Baking Soda into your clean empty container or Jar. Then Add the Castile Soap. Next add your Water. Finally add your Essential Oil's. Stir Until its in a paste like form, or the same consistency as the store brought Soft Tub Scrub.  Put your lid on and label your finished product!

*** Tip:  If your soft Scrub seems to become thick after sitting for a few days, simply add more water and stir. ***

There you have your very own DIY  green cleaning, Chemical Free Soft Scrub.  Easy and Simple to make!

This works wonders for my bathroom, it can be used in your bathroom sinks, and tubs. Or anywhere  you find it effective. Since using this I will never go back to the store brought version. This is a keeper in my family!

Thanks for stopping by Ladies. Have a fabulous weekend. And remember to stay Naturally Healthy and Fabulous!

*** Because this recipe calls for the use of Essential oils , please use caution and safety. Its recommended while handling essential oils to wear gloves, Should any of the oils get on your skin. Wash your hands with soap and water , immediately. ***
