Hello fabulous Naturals,
Today I will be bringing a interview from the Lovely, Ayo. Owner of "Soultanicals hair and body line" . Some of you may know I am a huge fan of this line. So when Ayo accepted my request to interview her for AuNaturale I was super excited. So let's learn about her and her line.
When was your company created?
My company was created in 2008 but officially launched in the Fall of 2012.
What is the inspiration behind your line?
My line is inspired by my love for different cultures, traditions and the natural richness of African design, spirit and lifestyle because it is my heritage (& hairitage) and who I am.
What inspires the names of your products?
I am a playful spirit so the names of my products are a reflection of all things that are complimentary of me- earthy, fun, natural and afroriginal!
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start a business of their own?
First, ask yourself what is it that you want to offer to the masses. Tap into your natural talents, skills and creativity and merge it with all that you're passionate about. The ideas will begin pouring in and you'll find it much easier to stay committed, focused & grounded in your craft as a self-preneur.
Are you Natural? if so how long have you been natural?
I have been relaxer-free since 1998. 15 years hair-lovin' strong! :)
What advice would you give to someone new to the natural hair Journey?
I would say take babycurl steps and enjoy the journey!
Where can your products be found?
My natural, handmade goodies can be found at www.soultanicals.com and will soon be carried at your nearest natural hair beauty supply stores, worldwide.Stay tuned! ;)
Is there anything else you would like the readers to know about you and your brand?
We think the world could use a little more love, and together, we can spread that love, soulfully. So in the coming months, look forward to a new baby care, skin care and 'special attention' hair care line, from our love to yours! :)
I would like to thank Ayo, for taking the time and sharing herself and her brand with us here at AuNaturale. Thanking her for her loving spirit and encouaging ways.
She has also offered all of the readers here at AuNaturale 15% off of their next purchase at www.soultanicals.com by using code aunaturale007 good until 8-31-2013.
Thanks for stopping by, take care and stay Naturally Fabulous!

I had a commenter share a story she and her family is currently going through in the neighborhood she lives. Sometime ago I did a post on bullying and a situation my family and I was going through in our neighborhood at that time. You can find that post here along with comments from others sharing their story We must protect our children, neighborhood bulling must stop.
Since that post I have been contacted a few times with others sharing their story of bullying. After hearing from my last commenter in relation to bullying I felt it necessary to re post the ugliness of bullying. Bullying is real everyone, it effects someone every single day.
It comes in so many different forms so much so, that many may not be able to quickly identify that it's happening. People and children are being bullied due to their race, if their bi-racial. Their weight, the way they dress, if their different, their religion, the list could go on and on.
This does not only happen to children. Adults as well can be subjected to bullying.
Please help someone today if you know they are being bullied. All while keeping you and your family safe. You never want to put your family in the way of harm. share ideas with them, help that person find resources. Do something, please don't turn a blind eye to bullying. It could be you or your
loved one next.
Children today are taking their own life because the bulling was so intense they could not cope. Both children and often adults can be relentless and cruel.
Whether in your neighborhood, your children's school, on the job, the Internet, where ever. We must take a stand to those weak minded individuals who feel the need to pick on others. There are resources, find them. And use them. Go to the authorities if they are not stepping up , continue on going until you get the help you deserve. Keep a journal of each and every incident with date, area, and time. Be sure to take it with you when you go to the authorities.
Stay safe. And lets protect against bullying.
Thanks for stopping by, take care. And stay Naturally Fabulous!

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. A while ago I ordered a few items from Cream & Coco. I wanted to give a quick review on the items I purchased. Cream &Coco is a small business that carries handmade skin &hair hair. The owners name is Vicki Vick.
I had heard many wonderful things about this line. I could not wait to order, and for my order to arrive.
I ordered from her during her birthday sale. I ordered 7 bars of soap. She was extremely busy during this time. So it took my order a bit to arrive. However, I was very , very happy with my purchase once it arrived.
The soaps smell amazing , the moisture on these babies is off the freaking chain. My skin is left super soft, and moisturized . I mean no oil or lotion needed type of moisture. The soaps I ordered were:
Strawberry Red Velvet Cake
Lemon Poppy Seed
Once you visit the site there you will find a plethora of soaps, ranging from exfoliating soaps, Detoxifying, and the list goes on. As well as with her face and hair care.
Because it took my order a while to arrive she was kind enough to send me sample size bottle of her infused glaze tincture I believe the scent she sent was the "Himalayan Goji " . OMG , this stuff right here, is beyond awesome.
OK the scent is so nice. It has a peachy type of scent, and thick in texture. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized all day. And the scent last . Its not one that once you apply it fades . The scent is there to stay, just as the moisture.
Overall, this is a skincare &soap line I will reorder from often. In fact I plan to place another order this week.
Here is the link to the fabulous cream &coco site Cream & Coco
Thanks for stopping by and reading. Take care and remember to stay Fabulous!

Happy Monday Ladies!
Today I bring you a review on products from "Sweet Nature by Eddie". Before I get started let me say I have used this in both my girls hair and my hair. Yielding the same results. I was sent products to review this line around the same time I interview Eddie the owner.
There are a couple of things I'd like to point out about this line. First the names of the products, love the names they are different speaks of inspiration. Also this is a well thought out line. There is a wealth of items to choose from included with lots of beneficial information on each product. It shows Eddie did her homework in making sure she put out quality products for different types of hair, based off of need.
The samples that was sent to me, are really generous sizes. So lets get into the review:
Paraben Free, Gluten Free & SLS Free. This shampoo will leave the hair clean, but not stripped of all of its natural oils. It is infused with 6, nutrient rich, carrier oils and raw honey that will keep the hair hydrated and soft. This is an excellent body wash .
Ingredients: Purified Water, Decyl Clucoside (Derived from Sweet Orange), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Derived from Coconuts), Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Citric Acid (Fruit Acids), Raw Honey, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil and Fragrance Oil
A BIT ABOUT Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) Sodicum Laureth Sulphate (SLES) *TAKEN FROM THE SITE*
Detergent used as a moisturizer in floor cleaning products, found in engines and in Agent Orange (which served to kill vegetation and profoundly harmed human and animal life during and long after the Vietnam War.) SLS and SLES are used in laboratories as skin irritants in order to test soothing products. However, their low cost makes them present in the majority of shampoos and cosmetic foaming products. Several studies have underlined the harmful effects of their use: urinary infections, kidney and bladder infections, fertility problems, irritation to the eyes, skin and scalp, allergic reactions, lesions of the scalp and hair loss and dandruff. Certain studies have asserted that SLS and SLES are carcinogenic.
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SHAMPOO- tHIS IS A VERY THICK SHAMPOO, As I've stated previously . When I use shampoo I like for my shampoos to be thick and rich. And that is exactly what you'll find with this shampoo. The smell is Divine, lathers well. My hair as well as my girls hair felt clean, and not stripped
The price- 16oz $19.50, 12oz $15.00, 8 oz $11.00
LOVE PEPPERMINT INFUSED MOISTURIZING DEEP CONDITIONER-
Detangling will be a breeze with this thick and creamy conditioner. Love is packed with hydrating, nutrient rich oils and raw honey, which will soften the hair and fight hair loss while the silk amino protein will work to strengthen each strand. The tingling sensation of the peppermint oil will awaken your scalp stimulating blood flow and promoting growth.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol (Derived from Coconut Oil), Raw Honey, Avocado Oil, , Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Silk Amino Protein, Peppermint Oil
This baby is a thick, a very thick DC. Again as with my shampoos (when used) I also like my DC to be thick, rich and moisturizing. This DC delivered all 3 of those things. It was thick, smelled great, and the feeling from the peppermint was awesome. I really felt my hair was getting nourished.
I must say that for me there was not a whole lot of slip. There was slip, but I tend to like just a tad bit more. So with that I was concerned about how moisturized my hair would be after using. And, ladies let me tell you my hair was urber moisturized and soft out of this world. This is one I am almost certain I will repurchase for sure.
Price- 8oz $10.00, 12 oz $14.50, 16oz $18.50, and the gallon is $60.00
GROWTH MOISTURIZING SPRAY:
This multi-purpose spray can be used as to detangle the hair, as a moisturizing braid spray, a scalp energizer and a general moisturizer. It will not only leave the hair quenched, soft and unbelievably manageable, but the Aloe Vera will assist in healthy blood flow while delivering nutrients to the follicles.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Wheat germ oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Gotu Kola, Saw Palmetto, Nettles Blend, Horsetail, and Fragrance Oil
PRICE: 8OZ $15.00, 12OZ $19.00, 16OZ $27.00
Love this product it does a great job with detangles. provides a extra bit of moisture. Has a great scent. and left our hair very manageable. It did not leave our hair feeling sticky , as with other I have used.
DREAM CREAM MOISTURIZER:
This is a super creamy, hydrating moisturizer packed with numerous natural butters such as Shea, cocoa and mango! It also has many nourishing oils as well as organic aloe Vera juice. Dream is excellent for relaxed hair or natural hair and every skin type as well.
Spring Water, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aloe Vera Juice, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Fragrance Oil.
4OZ $9.00, 8OZ $15.00, 12 OZ $24.00, 32OZ $45.00, and up. She also offers a kit with this product.
The texture is exactly as in the title a cream. I would consider this to be of a lighter cream. Which can be great for the warmer months, especially. It does well as a moisturizer . And has a great scent. For myself layering this with a sealant and you have a wonderful pair.
WISDOM HEAVY MOISTURIZER:
This is a heavy moisturizer with Shea butter and cocoa butter as its primary ingredients. Aloe Vera gel, mango butter, and an array of several nutrient rich oils are combined to deliver the needed hydration to keep the hair soft. This moisturizer also has a very slight hold and is excellent for braiding, twisting and coiling the hair. It’s also an amazing body butter for rough dry skin.
Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Purified Water, Organic Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Wheat germ Oil, Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Fragrance Oil.
4OZ $9.00, 8OZ $15.00, 12OZ $24.00, 32OZ $45.00, and up. She also offers this in a kit as well.
This is again exactly as described in the name of this product. This is a very thick moisturizer. I really like this one as well. It keep my hair moisturized for a few days , and provides great shine. The smell is very nice. It's of a butter like texture.
I really like these products . I have already decided to use this line in my girls hair . I really can see this line doing very well with our hair. It's filled with very nutritional ingredients that our hair loves. These products does include proteins in the ingredients. I am very cautions on using protein in my hair.
However, I do believe especially now that I have colored my hair. I need to do a few protein treatments here and there to help in my hairs strength. I can tell I have found that in the DC from this line.
She offers many other items for our hair. There are a few more I plan to try. Below I will provide the link to sweet nature by Eddie . Go on over and check out all she has to offer along with some very impressive reviews.
