Hello Ladies!
Today I bring you first segment of "Battle of the Butter's" and buttercreams. When I first started my natural hair journey. I thought my hair hated creams and butters. So I rarely used butters , I stuck to using creams.
I am now noticing my hair really doesn't mind butter or creams, as long as they are water based. Very early on in hair my journey the products I used in my hair was not always water based. It was then that I noticed such a difference in my hair then oppose to my hair now.
Further,realizing the importance of using water based products in my hair. My hair loves any product ( normally) that is water based. Noticing my hair stays hydrated longer , my hair seems to receive water based products better than non water based products.
With that I have noticed that products beginning with Shea butter ( and some with Shea Butter period) in the ingredient list , sit's on top of my hair strands, thus leaving my hair with a dull , ashy look.
Lately , I've found myself having a love for hair butters , and creams. There was a time it was Deep Conditioners ( I have my DC's secure), then there was leave-in conditioners ( have my leave in's secure). But , now its hair butters and buttercreams!

I'm excited to read your reviews, especially the Karen's Body Beautiful products.
I also used to have bad results with shea butter. It's too heavy and greasy for my fine hair.
@Nappy headed black girl,
Thanks Kay!
Yes, I have learned the very same shea butter in most cases is not that friendly to my tresses (lol). Especially if its high on the ingredients list.
Thanks for stopping by, take care.
