Happy Frugal Friday Ladies!
Today I bring you 3 great ways to clean and sanitize your toilet. They are easy, simple, toxic free, effective and frugal. So let's get started:
#1 GERMS-BE-GONE TOILET CLEANER
This is an antibacterial spray. To be used on the general surface of your toilet. Toilet seat ,etc For this you will need.
1 clean and empty spray bottle
2 Cups of Water
1/4 Cup liquid castle soap
1 Tablespoon of tea tree essential oil
10 drops of eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil
*** tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint all hold antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.***
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well. Spray on toilet surfaces, allow it to sit for a minute or two or as long as you like. Wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
# 2 NO SCRUB TOILET BOWL CLEANER
This one is great for those toilet bowls that have a ring around them. One's that may be difficult to remove without using a chemical of some type. I use this not because of having a toilet ring, but because its effective in doing a great job in cleaning the toilet.
You can do this recipe just before going to bed,when your sure no one in the house will be using the bathroom. By the morning even the toughest of stains will be gone!
You will need:
1 clean and empty container or bottle
1 cup of borax
1 cup of vinegar
10 drops of pine or Lavender essential oil
5 drops of lemon or lime essential oil
*** Pine holds- antibiotic, and antibacterial properties.
lavender, and lemon holds- antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.
Lime holds- antibiotic, and antibacterial properties.***
Directions:
Simply combine all ingredients in a plastic container or bottle, and pour all at once into your toilet bowl. Allow to sit overnight, upon waking give your toilet bowl a good scrub. Then flush.
#3 EASY DOES IT BOWL CLEANER
Ingredients:
1 clean and empty container
1/2 cup of baking soda
1/4 cup of white vinegar
10 drops of tea tree essential oil
*** tea tree holds- antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties. ***
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Just add to the bowl, allow mixture to sit for a minute or two, or as long as you like. Swipe with a brush, and your done.
All 3 of these recipes are great!. Ones that I use and will continue to use in my bathroom's.

I see vinegar and baking soda are the all-natural super cleaning ingredients. I see them in almost every cleaning recipe you've posted.

Yes they are very versatile, and they are the main ingredients with a couple others( post to come on them) that are needed and used in green cleaning. You'd be surprised at how well they clean. I love them.
