MY THOUGHTS ON CURLS ECSTASY HAIR TEA CONDITIONER....
Hello fabulous naturals!
Well as promised I have a few reviews coming up, but lets began with the "Curls ecstasy hair tea conditioner". I absolutely loooove this conditioner, I have now tried both the curls coconut sublime and now the curls ecstasy. I really like the curls ecstasy better, the coconut sublime is not bad, not bad at all. But, the curl ecstasy seems to give me more. This little number has some really great ingredients and includes soy protein. Now, that I'm putting protein back into my regimen, I've come to realize because my hair is semi fine my hair doesn't need a strong protein at all. Soy protein is a lighter protein and is recommended for naturals who have more of a finer texture, because of our texture our hair or at least my hair can't weather lots , and lots of the stronger proteins on the market.
This is another reason why this conditioner is my fave, with soy protein because it such a lighter protein it can be used weekly - 1x monthly, totally a matter of preference. It's pH tested at a pH of 4 which is great considering that is within the range of our hairs natural pH, so you know I looove that:). When applying sometimes I add aloe juice and a tablespoon of oil to the conditioner for extra moisture. But then there are times I don't. To be perfectly honest using this conditioner alone is great, it really can stand on its very own. Now onto the goodies...
They say:
The curls Ecstasy will Transform, dry damaged, chemically, processed or overly stressed hair within minutes. This heat activated deep magical Asian hair tea combines certified organic extracts, exotic emollients with vitamin packed botanicals to moisturize, condition, strenghten, and protect over worked hair. If you have dry, course hair this conditioner is a must have!
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Octyl Palmitrate, Behentrimonum Methosulfate, Certified Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearth-20, Certified Organic Ho Shu Wu Extract, Certified Organic Green Tea Extract, Certified Organic Chamomile Extract, Certified Organic Calendula Extract, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Panthenol, Soy Protein, Citric Acid, Quaternium-15.
My final word:
My hair is not damaged, or chemically processed. But, the way I look at it is that if this particular conditioner is greared toward dry, damaged hair this always works in the favor of naturals considering our hair is on the dryer side, due to the nature of our hair. I have seen a difference in my hair since using this conditioner. I have less shedding ( not a big shedder) but the hairs I did shed has certainly been minimized. And, my hair just feels great since using. The slip is much better (to me) than with the coconut sublime. And, immediately while applying I can feel the difference...before sitting under the dryer on low setting. And, when I came from under the dryer my hair feels like silk and very soft and moisturized. The consistency of the hair tea is very thick, I like that in my deep conditioners. I've found that the thicker the deep conditioners the better results, It coats the hair strand much better. It has a very faint, pleasant, soft smell to it. And one of the very best points is that I can buy this little number at my local natural hair salon, owned by the lovely Shida natural from YouTube...luckily I live very close to her salon. She sells a whole load of the very popular natural hair products. That works great for me, I don't have to pay for shipping or the waiting period for the products to arrive:)
So in all I do believe the curls ecstasy hair tea conditioner is a keeper in my regimen. I may revisit the coconut sublime from time to time. But for right now the curls Ecstasy has the coconut sublime beat :). Below I will post links to a few places that sell these conditioners.

I absolutely LOVE this conditioner. Pretty much all the products I use for my daughter are from the Curls or Curly Q line and they have been fantastic, but when I added this to the regimen her hair was amazing.
