~ TEA TIME TUESDAY IN REVIEW "RED ROOIBOS HERBAL TEA " ~
Hey ladies!
This Tea Time Tuesday I bring you the lovely "Red Rooibos herbal tea". This is one my favorite teas, I particularly love the red rooibos tea -mandarin flavored. This is one the best tasting tea's ever! . This tea has a bit of a sweet taste, and a touch of orange, and nutty like taste. I add a touch of lemon and drink many cups throughout my day.
This tea is naturally caffeine free. And carries extra benefits in which it contains minerals and antioxidants, Zinc, Fluoride, iron, potassium, alpha-hydroxy, and magnesium. It helps with cramps, soothes the stomach, boosts the immune system, and aid's in relieving allergies.
Studies show Red Rooibos tea has the highest levels of antioxidants, even higher than Green Tea. Two of the flavonoids found in rooibos, quercetin and luteolin, have been known to have cancer fighting qualities. Flavonoids are antioxidants found naturally in plants.
As you can see from the picture above this herb comes in a red like color. And upon making your cup of tea , you tea will also have the color of the herb.
Steep your red rooibos tea for approx 5 min. Be sure not to brew longer as it will make the tea bitter. If you desire to have a stronger tasting tea , simply add more of the herbs. Oppose to steeping longer.
This tea can be enjoyed both hot or cold. Great for mom's to be, entire families, and children.
